The GEMINI 5K S35 sensor, integrated into the RED EPIC-W 5K camera, offers dual sensitivity modes for versatile shooting in both well-lit and low-light environments, delivering cinema-quality images with impressive dynamic range. Its exceptional low-light performance ensures cleaner images with reduced noise and enhanced shadow detail. The sensor allows easy mode switching via the on-screen menu and provides a broader field of view at 2K and 4K resolutions compared to the HELIUM sensor. Built on the compact DSMC2 form factor, the camera supports 5K full format motion at up to 96 fps, fast data speeds up to 275 MB/s, and in-camera REDCODE RAW and ProRes or DNxHD/HR recording.
